Party Booking - Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Confirmation


  • A party is not considered confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us (Email or Text agreement).
  • Payments for the party is taken in full at booking and 25% of the full payment will be non refundable less 12 days before the party.
  • Final guest numbers, custom design party piece and any special requirements must be confirmed at least 10 days prior to the event.


2. Use of Space


  • Access to the venue 15mins before the agreed party time. Please arrive and depart promptly, as we may have other parties. (Late fees of £10/15mins should you go other your allocated time.
  • Decorations are welcome but must not cause damage to walls, furniture, or fixtures. Please do not use nails or gaffe tape, a light tack tape, pin tacks can be used, but please ask before using them.
  • Music is permitted at a respectful volume and must not interfere with neighbours joining the café.


3. Tidy-Up Procedure


Before leaving, please ensure you leave it as they found it:


  • All items brought with you, including decorations and any rubbish, must be taken away at the end of your event. Any items provided or supplied by the venue will be handled by our team.
  • Personal belongings and party items are taken with you. Presents, cake etc
  • Tables are cleared of food, drink, and party items (bags available at request)
    Staff will handle the floor cleaning and arranging of furniture where necessary, but we appreciate your help tidying at the end to speed up the process.
  • Tidy-up upgrade: this is available as an option at a cost of £20 payable upfront on booking or if you decide on the day or change your mind and it can be paid on the day by cash.


4. Respect & Conduct


  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, it is a working gift shop so be advised that there are trinkets and breakable gifts at arms reach, so please be mindful of that.
  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and the space.
  • Any damage or breakages to products are to be paid for on the day they occur and any damage or breakage to the property will be chargeable, quotes will be taken accordingly for full repairs.


5. Food & Drink


  • Any food or drink brought to the venue must be taken away from the venue, including any rubbish produced from it. (unless tidy up fee is paid either before or on the day of your party).
  • BYO Drinks are allowed but only when booking a party, where a corkage fee of £35/booking is paid.
  • "Challenge 25 Rule"
  • Challenge 25 is a policy under which anyone buying alcohol in the UK who looks under 25 years old is asked for ID to confirm their age. It helps to prevent the sale of alcohol to underage people and to reduce underage drinking in the community. It's illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under 18 in the UK.
  • We do not cater for allergies, please note this when placing the food order, however if their any celiacs, gluten free etc they can of course bring their our food.


6. Cancellations & Changes


  • Cancellations made less than 12 days before the event may result in the full loss of any payments made. However, we are happy to discuss rescheduling but cannot guarantee availability, which may require an additional deposit. Each situation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.


7. Liability


We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during your event. Please keep valuables with you at all times.
